August 22, 2017 - Yesterday's solar eclipse from the front yard at Wolf; 11:31am - 12:12pm. The moon moves across the sun from top right to bottom left. The eclipse was approximately 95% of total.

August 19, 2017 - In town gardens they call this flower Liatris. Growing wild out here on the prairie it's called Dotted Gayfeather or Blazing Star. I like that better.
