October 31, 2019 - Scotland.  Day Seven.  A rainy day ride on the coal-fired steam locomotive powered train from Ft. William to Mallaig along the western coast.

October 30, 2019 - Scotland.  Day Six, part three.  Highland Wildlife Park (post 2 of 2).  I could spend a week here.  The Red Deer were my favorite, and the Musk Ox.  When do you ever get to see a Musk Ox?

                             Eurasian Eagle Owl.  Polar Bear.  Red Deer.  Jackdaws (free range).  

October 29, 2019 - Scotland.  Day Six, part two.  Zoological Society of Scotland Highland Wildlife Park in Kincraig (post 1 of 2).  This is the finest "zoo" I have ever seen.  It has enormous, verdant enclosures all set in a beautiful highland landscape.  All of the zoological citizens are from the northern latitudes, another pleasing rarity.

                             Great Grey Owl.  Przewalski's Horse.  European Bison.  Artic Fox.  Musk Ox.  Amur Tiger.  Capercaille.

October 28, 2019 - Scotland.  Day Six, part one.  Aviemore in Cairngorms National Park.  Our hotel and a morning walk along the River Spey.

October 27, 2019 - Scotland.  Day Five, part three.  The dark waters of the River Spey, a world famous Brown Trout and salmon fishing river.

October 26, 2019 - Scotland.  Day Five, part two.  Lunch break in Inverness and the River Ness flowing from Loch Ness.

October 25, 2019 - Scotland.  Day Five, part one.  Traveling south from Scourie to our next destination of Aviemore in Cairngorms National Park.

October 24, 2019 - Scotland.  Day Four, part three.  Continuing our late afternoon drive.  These from Unapool traveling south once more to Loch Assynt and the Ardvreck Castle ruins.
