January 26, 2024 - A memorable afternoon.  It is not uncommon to see mountain lion tracks around here in the winter snow, but we have only actually seen four mountain lions here in 35 years.  Here are three of them; half grown, maybe a year old.  You can see all three of them in the last picture.

January 16, 2024 - Temperature this morning is -15F.  Winds are calm.  The weather report says we are supposed to get above 0F today for the first time in 8 days.

To celebrate the anticipated warmth: Saguaro moon.  Near Tucson Arizona 30 years ago.

January 15, 2024 - And here is the weather report from Wolf Wyoming this morning.  Temperature: -25F.  Wind chill: -52F.  

About the same as southeast Greenland as we flew over in January 2022 I suppose.
