February 11, 2017 - Frozen creek beds, 12"-16" of snow in the foothills and a 60F, 45 mile per hour Chinook wind;  a recipe for the flash flood we had here two days ago.  Enlarge the photo to see the water flowing over the foot bridge which is normally 3 or 4 feet above the creek.  The blog photo from yesterday is the morning of the flood about an hour before the Chinook and 5 hours before this photo of the flood behind the house.
