April 26, 2017 - Koln (Cologne) Germany.  Koln Cathedral, the largest in Europe, is massive.  The filials (crosses) on top of the two tallest spires are themselves 27 feet high (3 stories).  The marble sculptures above the main entrance are larger than life size.  And the Rhine River below the cathedral.

 

So ends our first week in Europe.
